Not confirmation of this MCU appearance by any means, but definitely speculative evidence that Wendell Vaughn's Quasar is in the show. I just caught this detail in the Ms. Marvel trailer now, and jumped out of my chair. Blond guy in the trailer, looks like Wendell Vaughn?
But what's more? He's in front of a store called "Circle Q"... My guess is the "Circle Q", commonly used as Ms. Marvel's base of operation in the comics, was used here as a nod to Wendell as Quasar. Which while is awesome, could be rewarding but also bittersweet news to Quasar fans as it might further prove the changes to Ms. Marvel's on-screen powers are brought on by the Quantum Bands. Also by casting an unfamiliar actor, then we are likely only guaranteed to see Wendell at the 3rd tier T.V. status as opposed to any prominent role in something like a Guardians of the Galaxy film.
This could be a nice development for fans of Wendell's Quasar, but also fits the operating model in recent years for the "Power Rangers" generation. This storytelling model tends to focus on everything as a "mantle" - everyone develops identically in that culture where no single person in narration can rise above, so it makes perfect sense that this is a group of "protectors" rather than a single "protector of the Universe".
We will find out when Ms. Marvel premiers on Disney+ on June 8th.
