Advanced Iron: Guide to the Marvel Comics Iron Man Universe
Advanced Iron - the "much more than fan-fiction" fanzine dedicated to Marvel Comics Iron Man which began in 1993. Long before Iron Man had entered the public consciousness on film, the zine began as a mail-order distribution effort by publisher and creator Bill Egan. Over the years the effort grew to include a myriad of creators and contributors, each issue developing into a more sophisticated evolution of the last.
After several years as a mail-order print 'zine and yet far ahead of the "digital distribution curve", Advanced Iron moved to a digital-PDF model on "Advanced Iron" - the ultimate, and longest-running Iron Man fan site on the web.
Advanced Iron continues online today as an informative and friendly Facebook group of Iron Man fans.
Please follow us as we work to make the zine's entire 75 issue run available here as a series of PDF downloads. W1C is proud to host this collection in our archives so that this zine will continue to be available to a new generation of fans and collectors.
